Westchester Creek is a tidal inlet of the East River located in the south eastern portion of The Bronx in New York City. During the revolutionary war the Patriots destroyed a bridge over the Creek which delayed the British approach. Even today it remains and even if it weren't tightly intertwined with the revolutionary war it would be a splendid place to visit.
